Huis Maerua Children’s Home provides a safe and loving environment for children removed from the care of their parents.
About Us
A place of healing and hope for children who have been taken from their homes due to abuse, neglect, abandonment and maltreatment.
We provide a stable, safe, loving and nurturing environment that improves lives and empowers at-risk children and families in Windhoek and other areas in Namibia.
Our children have access to a variety of therapeutic, spiritual, cultural and recreational activities.
They reside on campus in a family environment that comprises of house parents, support staff and resident advisors.
How to make a Difference
Make a Donation
Sign a debit order, make a once-off monetary donation, donate items for use/consumption at the home or name us in your will.
Support our Projects
Fund raising projects such as the Bonnie fire lighter sales, raffles, etc. contribute to approximately 40% of our income.
